The Kanomax AES-LPM is a compact, cost-effective large particle sensing monitor designed for continuous contamination monitoring in manufacturing and industrial environments. It detects particles at 5 μm and provides reference measurements at 10 μm, 20 μm, 30 μm, and 50 μm, helping facilities identify larger particles that may settle on products, interfere with production, or contribute to visible quality defects.
A four-level LED display provides an immediate indication of large-particle conditions, while alarm, Ethernet, analog voltage, Wi-Fi, and RS-485 outputs support integration with facility monitoring and process-control systems. The AES-LPM is particularly well suited for paint and coating booths, glass manufacturing, printing operations, precision production areas, and other processes where larger particles can affect product quality or equipment performance.

The AES-LPM is designed to continuously monitor larger particles that may fall, settle, or adhere to products and manufacturing equipment. These particles can cause coating imperfections, glass surface defects, printing problems, contamination of precision components, and other quality-control issues.
The monitor detects particles at 5 μm and provides reference measurements at 10 μm, 20 μm, 30 μm, and 50 μm. This detection range makes the AES-LPM a practical solution for monitoring visible and process-affecting contamination that may not be adequately represented by fine-particle monitoring alone.
Continuous large-particle monitoring helps operators identify changing contamination conditions before they lead to widespread production defects. The system updates its data every second and uses a 300-second measurement time to monitor particle conditions consistently.
An easy-to-read, four-level LED display provides an immediate visual indication of particle conditions. When abnormal particle levels are detected, personnel can investigate possible contamination sources, evaluate cleaning procedures, and take corrective action before additional products are affected.
The AES-LPM offers alarm, Ethernet, analog voltage, Wi-Fi, and RS-485 outputs for integration with compatible monitoring and control systems. These connectivity options allow the instrument to support standalone alerts, centralized data collection, remote monitoring, building management systems, SCADA platforms, PLCs, and other process-control configurations.
An optional CHU-L151-11A-AES sensor adds continuous temperature and relative humidity monitoring. This additional environmental data can help personnel evaluate conditions that may influence particle generation, material behavior, coating quality, or process stability.
The compact AES-LPM can be installed near critical processes, inspection areas, production equipment, or other locations where large-particle contamination may affect quality. Multiple monitors can also be deployed throughout a facility to observe conditions at several production or inspection points.
The AES-LPM displays particle measurements in pcs/5 min under its default condition. Compatible configurations can also report measurements in pcs/m³, pcs/cf, or pcs/L, supporting different monitoring and data-management requirements.
